TOYOSI AKURE BAO FOUNDATION GIVES SCHOLARSHIP TO OUTSTANDING STUDENTS DURING SUMMER LESSON & DOLES OUT CASH TO PETTY TRADERS IN YAGBA WEST
Dr Toyosi Akure, the sole financier and founder of Toyosi Akure BAO Foundation has once again put smiles to faces of several homes and has touches several lives in Yagba west local government area of Kogi State
Indeed , Dr Toyosi Akure is a special breed of Okun species that is passionate about the wellbeing of the less privileged members of the society who has committed his hard earned income for selfless and humanitarian services
His NGO, Toyosi Akure BAO Foundation has given scholarship to outstanding students in the just concluded free summer lesson organised and funded by the foundation
The foundation has paid the school fees of three outstanding students in each of the classes from JSS1 to SS3
The first, second and third positions in each of the six classes school fees for first, second and third term has been paid by the foundation and the receipts of payment was presented to the beneficiaries
Also school bags, textbooks, exercise books and other writing materials were also given
The students that participated in the free summer lesson by the foundation were given exercise books and other writings materials
In the same vein, cash gifts was given to petty traders carefully selected under in each of the seven wards of the area council in Yagba west local government by the foundation under the aegis of IREDE TRADER MOINIE
Chief Obafemi Awolowo had once said, The children of the poor you failed to train will never let your children have peace
Dr Toyosi Akure has written his name in gold for his passion for educational growth and development of Yagba west children
He has committed and invested several millions of naira towards improving the standard of education of Yagba west children
Education remain the best legacy’s that can be given to a child
In Proverb 19: 17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord and he will reward them for what they have done
