Political heavyweights flock to the APC as Hon Wemi Jones FCIB and party leaders sweep through Kabba-Bunu LGA, solidifying their stronghold in the region
In what can be described as a major political coup, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State has recorded a massive influx of political heavyweights from various parties. The Kogi State Honourable Commissioner for Education, Hon Wemi Jones FCIB, and other APC leaders led a sweeping movement from Okebukun Ward through to Olle-Okeofin ward in Kabba-Bunu LGA, welcoming a host of new decampees.
Notable among the decampees is Engr. John Ibisagba, Chief Olorunfemi Ajare, Mrs. Ohunolorunshe, Mr. Seyi Olorunshe, Mr. Abayomi Aroniyo, and many others. The reception of the decampees in Olle-Okeofin ward was marked by a jubilant atmosphere as Hon Wemi Jones expressed his delight at the new additions to the APC family. He stated that with Engr. John Ibisagba and others joining today, the party expects to secure 92.8% of the votes in subsequent elections in Olle/Oke-Offin ward.
Egnr John Ibisagba, one of the decampees, expressed his commitment to working tirelessly to ensure that the APC delivers 100% success in all elections in Olle. He extended his gratitude to Otunba Kingsley Mokikan for consistently providing him with sound political advice. Ibisagba pledged to treat everyone in the ward fairly and work towards creating a cohesive and inclusive party environment.
Joining Hon Wemi Jones in the reception of the decampees were other APC leaders such as Hon Moses Olorunleke, Juwon Olorunnipa (Jumabee), Hon Bode Adeyemi, Hon Kingsley Mokikan, Hon. Nathaniel Taiwo, Hon. Williams Owoyomi, Mr Solomon Jemibawondo (APC Party Chairmen, Kabba/Bunu LG), Mrs. Ifedunni Olumeyan (APC Vice Chairmanship candidate in Kabba/Bunu), Engr. Olusegun Tolufashe, and many others.
