SUPPORTERS OF JAGABAN 4 GYB TO PYB CALLS ON HON. TAUFIQ ISA TO CONTEST FOR HIGHER POLITICAL OFFICE.
The teeming supporters of Jagaban Political Family calls on Hon. Taufiq Isa to contest for higher political office as a way of sustaining the structure which he has built over the years. This call becomes necessary in order to sustain the loyalty of the group and increase the support base of GYB to PYB.
Hon. Taufiq has repeatedly been saying he has no interest to contest for any political office, but we see such action as not giving hope to the teeming followers.
The group is pleading with Hon. Taufiq to run because he is not part of the absentee leaders, he is a pragmatic leader, he is a philanthropic and sympathetic leader who cares for the welfare of his followers. He is a humanitarian leader through whom the yearnings of the masses can be realised.
The acceptance of Hon. Taufiq to run for elective post will boost the support base for the governor’s Presidential project as many who are apathy to the project will be motivated by his declaration to massively throw thier weights behind the governor’s Presidential ambition.
The group sees Hon. Taufiq as a person who can provide solutions to the numerous challenges confronting the local government as he has been proving these as an administrator and chairman of Ijumu local government.
As a chairman, Hon. Taufiq has touched lives and has given hopes to many who occupy strategic positions. Many who became what they are now can be traced to the magnanimity and strides of Hon. Taufiq and many who have not gotten such opportunities still hope to rise politically, but if Hon. Taufiq refused to run, he may not be politically relevant to uplift these teeming supporters that make things happen for APC in Ijumu and other parts of Okunland to achieve their aims politically.
While appreciating the the governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for the trust and confidence repost on Hon. Taufiq which has earned him the position he occupies we equally commend Hon. Taufiq for being loyal and supportive to the cause of His Excellency, and by the grace of God we shall succeed.
It is as a result of these and many yet to be revealed that we call on Hon. Dr. Taufiq Isa to run for elective post in the fourth coming elections.
