The member representing Yagba East, Yagba West, and Mopamuro Federal constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide has flagged off the construction of another road after the assessment of the Makutu Obada road project

He flagged off the construction of the Itedo Irunda road project stating that it would be opened up to link to Agbana of Isanlu’s palace, also giving the area accessibility and a befitting look

According to him the road project aims to modernize infrastructure, boost local economies, reduce the development gap, and empower the dwellers by giving them befitting road networks to ease the movement of people while stating that he wants the construction to start as soon as possible.

In the same vein, Hon. Leke visited the Makutu, Obada market road project. The road has been completed and will be commissioned. Recall that the road construction was flagged off in February 2025 for construction and erosion control on both sides of the road.

Hon. Leke during the inspection commended the contractor handling the project for delivering perfect work while stating that the road will be lit up with solar street lights.

“We are pretty much satisfied with the level of work done so far, we were here about a few months ago to flag off the road, we monitored the progress of the work and we are very satisfied with the level of the project and asphalt overlay,” he said.
