Federal University Lokoja in Collaboration with Kogi State Polytechnic Offers Special Undergraduate Degree Programmes
The Federal University Lokoja, in partnership with Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has announced the commencement of its Special Undergraduate Degree Programmes at the newly established Study Centre on the Kogi State Polytechnic campus. This collaborative initiative aims to provide opportunities for academic advancement and career development for students and professionals.
Objectives of the Programme
The Special Undergraduate Degree Programmes were designed with two major objectives:
To provide a pathway for Higher National Diploma (HND) holders to convert their certificates into corresponding undergraduate degrees.
To enable university graduates to further enhance their academic qualifications.
Programme Duration and Lecture Periods
The programmes are structured to be flexible and convenient, especially for working-class individuals. They will be offered on a Part-Time (Weekend) basis, spanning six semesters (three semesters per year). Lectures and contact periods will hold only on Fridays and Saturdays.
Admission Requirements
Applicants are required to meet the following conditions:
A minimum of five (5) O’Level credits relevant to the desired course of study, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Possession of an HND or University degree from a recognized institution, with a minimum qualification of HND Pass or a maximum of Third Class Degree.
A Certificate of Discharge, Exemption, or Exclusion from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme.

Generate an RRR Payment Invoice of ₦20,000.00 (Application Form Fee) via REMITA services (ATM card or Bank payment), and click the “Pay Now” button to complete payment.
Complete the online application form and submit.
Print the evidence of application submission.
Application Timeline
The window for the sale and submission of application forms opens on 11th September 2025 and closes by midnight, 6th November 2025.
