APC Chieftain Emmanuel Ikusemoro Applauds Prince Mathew Kolawole Over Widows’ Empowerment in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu
A prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Ikusemoro from Ayetoro Kiri ward in kabba bunu LGA, has commended the Former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Mathew Kolawole, for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of widows in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
Ikusemoro made the remarks in appreciation of the recently held Prince Mathew Kolawole Widows Empowerment Program, which benefitted over 250 widows across the constituency. The annual event, which aims to alleviate the hardships faced by widows, featured the distribution of cash support, wrappers, rice, garri, and other essential items to help sustain their families and improve their livelihoods.
In addition to the widows’ empowerment, Prince Kolawole also introduced a Students Support Scheme, an initiative designed to provide financial assistance to students within the constituency. The goal, he emphasized, is to ensure that no student is hindered in their educational pursuit due to lack of funds.
Prince Kolawole further reassured the widows of the continuity of his monthly support scheme, which provides N10,000 to each beneficiary. The initiative, already in progress, reflects his long-term commitment to supporting the most vulnerable members of the society.
Ikusemoro hailed the former speaker’s initiatives as a shining example of grassroots-oriented leadership and called on other political leaders to emulate his compassion and dedication to community development.
