I took the step to reach out and suggested we meet. We agreed to meet at a place, but he couldn’t make it. Instead, he kindly sent me a message, apologizing for not being there and offering other ways for us to connect. This might not mean much to those who are caught up in pride, but it truly resonates with me.
After spending over a decade in the financial industry, I understand the significance of someone who has been a top management team member of a commercial bank and now leads a successful international Micro Finance Bank taking the time to apologize and suggest alternatives.
