Kogi State Commissioner for Education Leads Stakeholders in National Reading Framework Dissemination for Improved Literacy Across Nigeria
The Kogi State honourable commissioner for education, Hon Wemi Jones FCIB, along with other critical stakeholders in the educational sector in Kogi State, is presently participating in the National Dissemination of the National Reading Framework (NRF) and its Implementation Guidelines to Education Stakeholders. The event, organised by the Federal Ministry of Education in collaboration with USAID, is taking place at the Ladi Kwali Ballroom in the Abuja Continental Hotel.
The objective of the meeting is to disseminate the NRF and its Implementation Guidelines to education stakeholders in Nigeria. The Federal Ministry of Education, in partnership with USAID LEARN to Read, is hosting the national dissemination in hopes of improving reading standards across the country.
Among the stakeholders from Kogi State attending the meeting are the Chairman of the State Universal Education Board (SUBEB), Engr. Abdurazaq Yusuf Muhammad, and the Directors for Educational Planning, Research, and Statistics of the Ministry of Education, Dr Animoku A. E., and SUBEB, Mr. Isaac Ele Enwuchiola.
This national gathering highlights the commitment of Kogi State and its leaders to enhancing education and literacy for all citizens. Hon Wemi Jones FCIB’s participation underscores the state’s dedication to ensuring that every child has access to quality reading resources and support.
