Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael Restates Commitment To Improved Security, Urges Residents To Remain Calm That The Govt Is Working Hard To Stamp Out Criminality In Kabba/Bunu LGA

The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael has restated the commitment of his administration to partnership with all the security agencies in the local government area to improve security as well as promote development in the area.

Zacchaeus made this known after a heart to heart discussion with the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the recent insecurity happenings in Kabba/Bunu LGA.

He thanked the security agency for its collaborative efforts and support for his administration since it came on board in 2024

He, thereby, assured that his government would continue to partner with the security agency in line with its commitment to providing adequate security for residents of the local government area.

He equally expressed his administration’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with the Nigeria Army, DSS, Police and CID to improve security and also promote development in the local government area while highlighting the key role of the Nigeria Army and DSS in national security.

The Chairman underscored the importance of a safe and secure environment for the progress of Kabba/Bunu LGA, committing to work closely with military agencies to ensure the safety of residents.

According to him, “The strategies and steps we are taking to stamp out criminality in all the affected areas in the local government area will bring total freedom for all residents and we pray that it will be a lasting fruitful exercise that will restore peace and safety to the entire local government area.

“I think at this point I need to acknowledge the fact that since I came in here, all the security agencies has been a pillar of support and has been keeping us safe and secure in Kabba/Bunu LGA. Your officers and men have been working day and night to keep us safe.

“We want to, on behalf of the people of the local government area and the State government, say thank you,” Zacchaeus added.

Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael acknowledged the governor’s efforts in maintaining peace and security in Kabba/Bunu LGA. He praised the governor’s commitment to security and robust relationship with the security agencies in the state.
