Ijumu Executive Chairman Sympathizes with Victims of Fire Outbreak in Ikoyi-Ijumu

The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Alhaji Ibrahim, has extended his heartfelt sympathy to the victims of a fire outbreak that occurred earlier today in Ikoyi-Ijumu. The unfortunate incident, caused by the storage of fuel in a residential building, led to serious injuries for some residents and the complete destruction of the building.

The fire, which broke out near the Oke Ijumu market area, caused widespread panic, with residents and market-goers seen fleeing for safety.

In his message, the Chairman reiterated his earlier warnings about the dangers of storing flammable substances in residential areas or other unsuitable locations. He emphasized the critical need for adherence to environmental safety regulations to prevent such disasters in the future.

Alhaji Ibrahim wished the injured victims a speedy recovery and assured the community of his administration’s commitment to ensuring safety and preventing further incidents.
