Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna Attends Foundation Laying Ceremony of Police Base in Ekirin-Adde, Inspects Hospital Project

Saturday, 7th December, marked a milestone in Ekirin and Ijumu Local Government Area as the Police Trust Fund officially commenced the construction of a Police Base in EkirinAdde. The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including the Executive Secretary of the Police Trust Fund Alhaji Sheidu and his team, the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, the Olujumu of Ijumu, OluAdde of EkirinAdde, Akirin of Ekirin and the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, who played host and represented the Executive Governor of Kogi State.

Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna in his remarks described the development as timely and invaluable, expressing gratitude to the Police Trust Fund for their contribution to the security of lives and property in the area. The Chairman emphasized that ensuring safety of citizens remains his top priority just as the administration of Governor Ododo.. He pledged to ensure the facilities are used effectively for its intended purposes and promised to create an enabling environment for prospective security personnel of the base.

Following the ceremony, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna and his team inspected the ongoing construction of a Primary Health Care centre alongside the Olujumu, OluAde and Akirin. He commended the progress made on the project and reiterated his commitment to Continuous partnership and support.
The team later visited the Access Bank Branch under Construction where Alhaji Ibrahim was warmly received by residents as they expressed appreciation for his proactive leadership and commitment to community development.
