Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna Donates Operational Motorcycles to Enhance Security In Ijumu Ahead of Yuletide
The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna, has strengthened the Ijumu Local government security architecture by donating five operational motorcycles to security agencies. The handover ceremony took place on Thursday, December 5th, with two motorcycles allocated to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and three to local hunters.
Alhaji Ibrahim during the event emphasized the need for vigilance and proactive measures to combat crime during the festive period, a time often associated with heightened criminal activity. He urged the security teams to intensify their efforts to eliminate criminal elements within the local government.
The Chairman commended the collaborative efforts of the security agencies since his assumption of office and encouraged continued cooperation to ensure the safety of residents. He expressed confidence that the motorcycles would enhance mobility and effectiveness in addressing security challenges in the area.
He appreciated the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Usman Ododo for his support at all times especially on Security of lives and properties as he prayed for the Governor’s continued excellence in repositioning the state
