Ogidi-Ayere Road Construction’s Assessment By KOGROMA; SSA Local Contents Hails Gov. Ododo’s Developmental Strides in Ijumu Local Government
Hon. Toyin Kamaldeen, Senior Special Assistant on Local Contents to Kogi State Governor commends Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his commitment to developing Ijumu Local Government and Kogi State.
The resilient SSA to governor Ododo’s aid joined the Ijumu Local Government Executive Chairman, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim to the road assessment.
While addressing the press at Ojawiri river along Ogidi-Ayere, during the assessment process of the road, by Kogi State Road Maintenence Agency (KOGROMA), Kamaldeen Toyin said, Governor Ododo’s administration has achieved notable milestones, transforming residents’ lives and boosting economic growth.
In Gov. Ododo’s key accomplishments specifically in Ogidi and Kogi State as a whole include;
Upgrade of Ologidi Stool to first-class status and grading of three traditional leaders to third-class status namely Oluotun, Olokoro and Olojo, recognizing the kingdom’s rich cultural heritage, and promoting traditional festivals and events.
Infrastructure development, including Ogidi-Ayere road construction, rehabilitation of rural roads and bridges, and provision of infrastructural facilities across board.
Economic empowerment initiatives through Gov. Ododo’s Business Outreach (GOBO), benefiting women and youths from Ogidi and the three senatorial districts of Kogi State.
Renovation and equipment of schools and hospitals, recruitment of teachers and healthcare professionals, and scholarship programs for Kogi State students.
Enhanced security measures, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, and community engagement initiatives.
The Ogidi Development Union praises Governor Ododo’s leadership, citing improved education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
HRM. Oba Rabiu Oladimeji Sule says, “The governor’s intolerance for bad governance is highly commendable.
We appreciate his efforts and look forward to continued development.”
Ogidi as a community pledges resolute support to Governor Ododo’s administration, acknowledging his efforts to transform Ogidi and Ijumu Local Government into hub of innovation and development.
The governor Ododo’s aid also commended the domestication of the developmental strides going on at the state level to Ijumu Local Government Area, under the leadership of Hon. Haruna Ibrahim.
Kamal illustrates that, Alh. Ibrahim Haruna has taken the bull by the horns in tackling all forms of insecurities and enhancements of well-being of Ijumu citizens.
Upon his resumption in office, Hon Kamal said, the Ijumu boss has as a matter of urgency declared “State of Emergency” on hunger and startvation with a laudable project tagged “Green Revolution and Food Security”.
This feat if maximally prosecuted, will enhance surpluse food that will permanently bring end to food scarcity in Ijumu local government.
