Kabba/Bunu LGA: We’ll Continue to Reward Hardwork, Dedication to Development, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael Charged Newly Confirmed Supervisors
The Executive Chairman of Kabba Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, today, said his administration would continue to reward people who show dedication to their duties and the progress of the local government area, saying that it’s only their dedication and impact that can sustain them on the assignment.
The chairman gave the assurance after the screening and confirmation of the supervisors by the Kabba/Bunu LGA Legislative Council in Kabba, cautioned against unnecessary altercation while discharging their responsibilities.
Zacchaeus congratulated the newly confirmed supervisors for serving the local government area meritoriously, urging them to strive and do more, as his administration would continue to celebrate hard work among the diligent appointees who do his job very seriously.
While commending the efforts of the Kabba/Bunu LGA legislative council for ensuring stability in governance and contributing to the productivity of the local government area, the chairman assured the people of the local government area that his government will aggressively woo infrastructure developments into the local government area.
“Let me reassure all citizens of Kabba/Bunu LGA that my administration remains resolute in initiating programmes aimed at improving the quality of lives and uplifting 10 thousand households out of poverty.
He also said his administration’s policies include the protection of lives and properties and ensuring equitable distribution of the local government wealth.
“I have to charge all of you to defend the government vigorously and not allow any irresponsible and politically motivated statements to keep spreading falshoods about this government. We are proud of our achievements under the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and we should blow our own trumpets,” the chairman added.
He equally appreciates citizens of Kabba/Bunu LGA, civil and public servants in the local government area for supporting his administration before the election and for supporting his election in different capacities, saying, “We know the elections have come and gone, and it is time to focus on governance. But I cannot fail to thank the Civil and Public Servants that supported us during the elections and the various roles they played as election canvassers and grassroots mobilisers to ensure our victory at the polls.”
