Kogi SGS, Kogi Education Commissioner, Commissioner for Finance join Dr. (Mrs) Olufunmilayo Alli to impact Knowledge in GMSSS, Lokoja
In a bid to encourage and support education in Kogi State, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade(PhD), the Honorable Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, and Commissioner for Finance, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, recently joined forces with renowned educationist Dr. (Mrs) Olufunmilayo Alli at the GYB Model Science Secondary School, Adankolo, Lokoja.
Dr. Olufunmilayo, who is based in the UK, took the opportunity to teach Mathematics to the SSS3 students at the school, emphasizing the importance of the subject and encouraging the students to excel in their studies. She urged the students to stay focused and strive for success, reminding them that they have the potential to achieve greatness in the future.
The presence of the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, the Commissioner for Education, and the Commissioner for Finance at the school was a clear indication of the government’s commitment to supporting education in the state. They commended Dr. Olufunmilayo for her dedication to teaching and urged other individuals to come forward and contribute to the education system in Kogi State.
The Commissioner for Finance, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, also addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of determination and self-reliance.
