Kogi State Local Governments Council Elections; Hon. Kamaldeen Toyin Casts Vote for APC Candidates; Lauds KOSIEC For A Very Peaceful, Free, Fair And Credible Election

Today, Hon. Kamaldeen Toyin, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on LocalContents, exercised his civic duty by voting for Hon. Ibrahim Haruna and Hon. Lawal Monday, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship and Councilorship candidates in the ongoing local council elections.

At Oju Ala in Ilaere, Kamaldeen expressed confidence in the APC’s candidates, stating that their victory is assured across Kogi State’s 21 local governments and 239 wards. Hon. Kamal attributed this to the APC government’s outstanding performance in the state, citing Gov. Ododo’s notable achievements in infrastructure development, education, healthcare, workers welfare and economic empowerment.

“Governor Ododo’s commitment to good governance will propel APC candidates to a massive win in the council elections across the state,” Kamaldeen said. “The APC’s sterling performance in Kogi State has earned the trust of the people, and we’re confident that our candidates will emerge victorious.”

In Igbolayere/Ilaere Ward and Ijumu local government, Kamaldeen predicted that the APC candidates would emerge victorious, consistent with the party’s overall performance. This prediction seems to be holding true, as Hon. Lawal Monday and Hon. Haruna Ibrahim secured a landslide win in Igbolayere/Ilaere Ward after the ballots were sorted, counted, and announced by the presiding officer from Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, KOSIEC.

With this development, APC candidates are expected to win in the remaining 14 wards of Ijumu local government and 238 wards of Kogi State. Kamaldeen urged party supporters to remain vigilant and ensure a peaceful electoral process.

“The APC is committed to consolidating good governance in Kogi State,” Kamaldeen emphasized. “We’re confident that our candidates will deliver on their campaign promises and continue the party’s developmental strides.”
