Kogi LG Poll: Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA lauds the large Turnout, Expresses Confidence in Victory for Party Candidates

The Honourable Commissioner of Finance,Budget and Economic Planning, Kogi state, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA has expressed satisfaction with the massive voter turnout witnessed during the Kogi State local government elections held on Saturday.

Speaking with journalists at KD unit 002, ward 09 Okemeta, Asiwaju commended the electorate for their peaceful conduct and active participation.

He noted that the large turnout reflects the people’s growing political awareness, readiness to choose who leads them and confidence in the APC’s leadership.

“We are witnessing an impressive turnout today, and I commend our people for coming out in large numbers to exercise their civic duties.

“It is heartwarming to see this level of engagement, which further shows the trust our people have in the APC,” he stated.

The Honourable Commissioner expressed optimism about the prospects of victory not just for himself but for all APC candidates contesting across the state. According to him, the campaign council’s efforts to connect with the electorate and address their needs have set the party on a path to victory.

“We have run a people-centered campaign focused on delivering good governance, and we believe the results will reflect the hard work we have put in.

“From what we have seen so far, I am confident that APC candidates across Kogi will emerge victorious,” he said.

Asiwaju also applauded the State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC) and security agencies for their efforts in ensuring a smooth and secure electoral process.

He concluded by encouraging supporters to remain steadfast and hopeful, adding, “This election is not just about today; it is about securing a better future for our communities.

Together, we will build the Kogi state we deserve.”
