Hon. Wemi Jones Leads APC Campaign in Kabba-Bunu, Welcomes New Members in Wave of Political Tide

The Kabba/Bunu All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign train has kicked off in Kabba district wards ahead of the forthcoming local government council election in Kogi State. Hon. Wemi Jones led the intense campaign, canvassing votes for the APC Chairmanship and Councilorship candidates while welcoming new members into the party.

The campaign marked the beginning of the APC’s ward-to-ward campaign across Kabba/Bunu local government area. With a focus on grassroots engagement and political sensitization, the event aimed to mobilize support for the APC ahead of the upcoming election.

During the campaign at each of the visited wards, the APC team paid a courtesy call to The Obaro of Kabba and engaged in voter education, keynote speeches, and the welcoming of new members from various opposition parties. The event saw a significant number of former PDP, ADC, and SDP members defecting to the APC.

Notable leaders of the APC, including Hon. Jethro Funsho Oni, Hon. Nathaniel Taiwo, and Hon. Moses O., were present at the campaign. The Director General of the Campaign council and Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Energy, Hon. Bode Adeyemi, also attended the event along with several past and serving government officials.

The inter-ward campaign will continue tomorrow in the Bunu district of the local government, with a plan to wrap up the campaign on the same day. The APC remains committed to gaining support and securing victory in the upcoming election.
