Eid-el-Maulud: Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael Seeks Prayers For Nigeria’s Wellbeing, Advise Muslims To Embrace Peace
The ruling All Progressive Congress APC chairmanship candidate in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael has urged Nigerians to use the occasion of the Eid-el-Maulud celebrations to offer more prayers for the peace, unity, and prosperity of the nation.
He called on Nigerian Muslims to embrace peace and seize the opportunity to strengthen their love towards one another and make the society a better place by shunning tendencies that could tamper with the unity and stability in the country particularly, in Kogi State.
In a statement on Monday, Zacchaeus emphasised the importance of spiritual reflection during this period, urging the Muslim faithful to pray for Nigeria’s overall well-being and the continued progress of the country.

“As we celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), I encourage everyone to reflect on his teachings and to pray for our nation’s wellbeing, peace, and development.
“Let us continue to pray for our leader, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the good works he has started doing to continue till the end of his tenure,” the former chairman said.
Zacchaeus also called for tolerance and understanding among all Nigerians, noting that unity and collective efforts are essential for overcoming the challenges the country currently faces.
“While felicitating my Muslim brothers and sisters, I want to charge them to use the opportunity to pray more for our state, especially as we prepare for the local government elections. Let us do everything within our best to eschew violence and acts inimical to our democracy.
“As an administration, we have enjoyed the support and prayers of the Muslim Ummah But just as efforts cannot be too much, prayers cannot be too much. So, please pray more for things to turn around for the better in our nation.
