Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael Welcomes ADC Members To The All Progressive Congress APC Party In Kabba
Members of the African Democratic Congress ADC, Local Government executives, ward chairmen and leaders of ADC in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area on Saturday dumped ADC for the ruling All Progressive Congress APC and declared support for Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael in his chairmanship race.
The decampees were led to the Edumo Bunu community by Hon Joash Onemayin, a former supervisory councilor in Kabba/Bunu LGA.
Also, at the event were members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) across the six wards in Bunu District led by Hon (Arc.) Salman Idris, member of the House of Representatives, Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
They were all received into the APC family by Hon Wemi Jones FCIB, Commissioner of Education; Comdr Jerry Omodara rtd, State Security Adviser to Kogi State Governor; Hon Bode Adeyemi, Special Adviser on Energy to Kogi State Governor

While welcoming the decampees on behalf of the APC family in Kabba/Bunu LGA, the former caretaker chairman commended the former opposition members for making the right choice by joining the winning party, describing the PDP, ADC SDP and others as parties without followers.
According to the APC flag bearer, Zacchaeus said since the APC controls the federal and state levels, it is imperative to also control the local government area for synergy for the good of all citizens
He said the party has been receiving big wigs from the opposition parties, commending them for leaving the ship before it finally sinks.
“Our party is very big to accommodate as many people as possible, urging them not to feel like strangers, but integrate themselves and work for the success of the party at the forthcoming chairmanship and councilorship elections,” Zacchaeus stated.
Speaking while leading members of the ADC to the APC, a strong ally of the member of the House of Representatives, Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon Joash Onemayin said they decided to join the progressives and work for the success of the APC in the coming elections out of conviction that Zacchaeus is a better candidate.
Joash said, he and his supporters agreed to dump the ADC party as it has no future for its members and that by the time we start working for the APC, there will be nothing left of the opposition party.
“We are doing Operation Show No Mercy and Kill opposition in Kabba/Bunu LGA. We join you because you are a performer and we will never disappoint you”, Joash said.
Conclusively, the APC flag bearer assured all decampees of equal treatment as every member of the party is one family. This government is your government and we are ready to accommodate whoever is ready to join hands with us towards the development of the local government area irrespective of religious, political or tribal affiliation.
