TOYOSI AKURE FOUNDATION COMMENCES FREE SUMMER LESSON, DISTRIBUTES EXERCISE BOOKS & AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP AFTER THE LESSON
Toyosi Akure Foundation, founded by philanthropist, Dr Toyosi Akure has commenced 2nd annual free summer lesson program for students in his country home Yagba west local government area of Kogi State
The program is targeted to provide educational support to students during the summer break
Just like that of last year edition there will be awards of scholarship to three outstanding students in each classes from JSS1-JSS3 and from SSS1- SSS 3, payment of their school fees irrespective of the school attended by the beneficiaries, provision of textbook, writing materials and the school bags
The foundation has provided writing materials to the students free of charge
Parents and guardians are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to give their children a head start in their academic pursuits
The program is a testament to Dr Toyosi Akure’s commitment to given back to the community and supporting the educational development of young people in Yagba west local government
