As I reflect on the groundbreaking decision made by the Governor of Kogi State to reserve 40% of the APC counselorship tickets for female aspirants, I am filled with gratitude and excitement. This bold move demonstrates a commitment to gender equality and empowerment, and I am thrilled to see our party leading the way.
As a dedicated party member, I have worked tirelessly to promote the party’s ideals and contribute to its success over the years. Notably, I voluntarily stepped down for the same counselorship position four years ago, prioritizing the party’s interests above my own. This year again I have Aspired For the same counselorship Position,Given my impact, dedication, and sacrifice, I believe I would be an ideal candidate to benefit from this initiative.
The Governor’s leadership and vision have created a platform for women to participate in politics and make meaningful contributions to our state’s development. I am eager to continue serving our party and people, and I believe this opportunity would enable me to do so more effectively.
