EID KABIR MESSAGE
HON. OMOTAYO ADELEYE ISHAYA URGES MUSLIM ON EID KABIR CELEBRATION PRAY FOR THE PEACE, UNITY, AND PROGRESS OF NIGERIA
The member representing Ijumu constituency in Kogi state house of assembly, Hon. Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya, congratulates Muslim faithfuls all over the world on the occasion of eid kabir celebration.
Hon. Omotayo in her eid kabir message described the celebration as a sacrificed made by prophet Muhammed, and as such, she urges the Muslim faithfuls to follow the footsteps of the prophet. She prayed God to continue to keep the country together and emphasised the need for the people to live in peace and have a cordial relationship as it is part of the things that can keep a nation as one.
She felicitates with the governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Usman Ododo on the occasion of eid kabir, wishing the governor more celebrations as the governor of Kogi state in good health, wealth and more wisdoms in piloting the affairs of the state. She commended the governor for the early payment of salaries and distributions of palliatives for eid kabir celebration, describing such timing gesture as rare and uncommon, stressing the need for the people of Kogi state to continue to support the administration of Alhaji Usman Ododo for more dividends of democracy, she said.
Hon. Omotayo who also congratulates the good people of Ijumu constituency on eid kabir and appreciates them for their patience, understanding, cooperation and peaceful coordination over the years, says Ijumu constituents are known for their hospitality, friendly and peaceful people, wishes them more eid kabir in good health, wealth, peace, unity, and progress, Omotayo said.
She further use this year EOD kabir to call on Nigerians to come together as one and protect our mother land, noting that we should look away from politics, religions, and things that can distract us from achieving our common goals as a nation.
She commends our traditional rulers in Ijumu constituency for their fatherly roles, advise, and for standing by us and also protecting our culture through their activities and guidance, making things more easier for our people, creating an environment where people live and do business without any forms of interference from external influences. I wish all our traditional rulers more eid kabir in good health,long life and long reign on the thrones. Says Omotayo.
In conclusion, hon. Omotayo enjoys all the Muslim faithfuls to continue to abide by the teaching of prophet Muhammad and use the occasion of eid kabir celebration to pray for the peace, Unity and progress of the country. She believes with the present situation of the country, prayers, patience, perseverance, and ability to tolerate one another would help to take the country out of the challenges we are facing, she also charges Nigerians to pray for the leaders, especially Mr. President on eid kabir and wish him well, more strength, wisdom, and grace to lead Nigeria to the permanent site. Noting that we have no other country except Nigeria.
