NAKOSS Meets with Prof Ogbo, Jumabee to Plan Jumabee Inspires Concert, Scholarship for Kogi Students
The NAKOSS National President, Dr. Jeremiah W. Elukpo yesterday met with the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Prof. Usman Ogbo and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Arts & Culture, Hon. Juwon Olorunnipa (Jumabee), in preparation for the Jumabee inspires Concert Season 5 which is set to hold on Friday, 21st June, 2024.
Prof. Ogbo stated that it is his responsibility to assist and make sure that the students benefit from the concert. He also said he was ready to provide any assistance to ensure the concert goes smoothly for the benefit of the students.
Hon. Jumabee disclosed to NAKOSS that this year’s concert will be nothing like has ever happened before and stated his readiness to provide scholarship to secondary and tertiary students during the concert. He asked NAKOSS to identify those individuals in dire need of assistance.
Dr. JW Elukpo informed the personalities that a lot of Kogi Students have been reaching out for assistance in paying their school fees and this is a good initiative to help the students.
He pledged the support of NAKOSS to ensuring those in need will benefit and to seeing that the Concert becomes a success for the interest of the entire Kogi State Students.
