KOGI ALGON CHAIRMAN FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS ON EID-EL-KABIR COMMENDS GOV ODODO FOR EARLY PAYMENT OF SALARIES/PENSIONS AHEAD OF THE CELEBRATIONS

Kogi ALGON Chairman , Tosin Olokun has extended warm greetings and felicitations to all Muslims in Kogi, Nigeria and around the world on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir

He commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for early payments of salaries and pensions to civil servants and pensioners in the State ahead of the celebrations

Olokun said Eid-el-Kabir, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a significant celebration in the Islamic calendar

“This day reminds us of the importance of selflessness, sacrifice, and unwavering faith in our lives,” he said

ALGON Chairman while commending the resilience and steadfastness of the Muslim faithful, especially during these challenging times, urged Muslims in Kogi State to deepen their commitment to the principles of peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence

He emphasized the need for religious tolerance, understanding, and respect for one another’s beliefs, just as he encouraged Muslims to use the festive occasion to foster stronger bonds of friendship, love, and compassion within their families, communities, and the entire state
