Ekinrin-Adde to Confer Distinguished Community Development Service Award on Financial Expert, Dare Atomode
Mr. Dare Atomode, the Financial Manager of Al- Hidaayah Academy, Gwarimpa Abuja, will on the 21st of June 2024, receive Distinguished Community Development Service Award in recognition of his unwavering commitment to the advancement of Ekinrin-Adde Community over the years.
According to the National Publicity Secretary of Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA) Adewale Victor Adekanye, the Award will be conferred at the Awards-Night which will take place on the eve of Ekinrin-Adde Day celebrations at the multipurpose hall beside Yemote filling station in Ekinrin-Adde.
Mr. Dare Julius Atomode hails from Oke-Aofin Clan of Otun Adde in Ekinrin-Adde. He attended K D Primary school Ekinrin- Adde (Now Model Primary School) from the year 1972 to 1977.
He was home schooled for his GCE which he passed with good grades in 1982. Later on, he got admitted into The University of Ilorin, where he pursued a degree in Political Science and graduated in the year 2000.
Dare Julius Atomode worked at various branches and departments of the United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) from 1983 to 2007. These branches include; Ilorin and Oke Ode in kwara state. Kontagora, Minna, Lapai and Mokwa in Niger State.
He was at one time, a Manager of Oke–Ode branch, Mokwa Branch, and Lapai branch of the bank.
After he left the bank, his unfading love for the financial sector propelled him to join Sigma Pensions Limited in August 2008 as the Zonal West Controller, which saw him controlling states like Kwara state, Osun state, Ondo state, Ekiti and Oyo states, with his office being in Ibadan until 2009.
He was transferred to Abuja Head Office of Sigma Pensions as the Unit Head; Reconciliation and nominal rolls until 2015, with the following responsibilities: Coordinating scheduled collection activities, Reconciliation of IPPIS accounts and MDA’s payments, Schedule issues reconciliation, Coordinating resolution of rejections, Coordination of nominal rolls relating to MDA’s under IPPIS office, Marketing activities, Process reengineering, Reconciliation of Informal Pension Savings collections, preparing the yearly budget of the department, relationship management (special customers), drive transfer window, All state remittances, Analyze Pencom (National Pension Commission) funding and remittance from IPPIS Office.
He was later the Team Lead Administration Business Development division of North Sigma Pensions from 2016 to 2019 with the following responsibilities: Ensuring the smooth, efficient and effective day to day running of the division (19 state with 23 locations) both administratively and business wise, Undertake detailed Market Analysis by individual employer or organization, Accurately identifying size and potential of that market within specific time frame, Inputting market research data into the Central Employer database by means of generating a Call Report for every employer or organization that is visited, Ensuring up to date collection of contributions in all registered MDAs and Private Organizations, Ensuring that Business development division in North attain at least 97% funding target and conversion of Pre –current year unfunded PINS, as well as Fund 1drive of active customers from Fund II to Fund 1, Responsible for branches to achieve 100% Drive for statements & other documentation, Customer Fora, Retiree Fora, PDO Fora and Liaising with branches to ensure no schedule, TCF or Rejections outstanding for more than 3weeks and Data Validation/recapture are done before PenCom deadline.

Dare Julius Atomode is a lover of his community. He was one of the young boys that started the youth wing of EADCA in Ilorin in the 80’s, he has been contributing to the development of EACDA since then. He was one time the chairman of Abuja branch of EACDA and currently National Financial Secretary of the EACDA.
Dare Julius Atomode is currently working as the Financial /Facilities Manager, Al- Hidaayah Academy. Gwarinpa Abuja.
He was married to late Omowunmi Abidemi Atomode and is blessed with three children.
His Hobbies include Reading, Computer animation and Listening to good music.
