Filmmaking offers a multitude of opportunities from directing and producing to cinematography, editing, sound design, production design, production vendors, scriptwriting and other diverse roles to explore. Additionally, with the evolution of technology, avenues like virtual reality, interactive storytelling, and content creation for various platforms such as social media has offer even more exciting prospects in the filmmaking landscape.
As part of giving back to the society, there is the need to speak to the teenagers and young adult in our educational institutions on the “ARRAYS OF CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AND THE NEED FOR MENTORSHIP IN FILMMAKING”. This is inspired by the Host Ino Moses Jonah’s birthday celebration, January 17th
It is imperative that our young and enthusiastic student in secondary schools (especially those on the verge of understanding career choice) and tertiary institutions (those hopeful for job opportunities) the need to know the opportunities that come with filmmaking as a career that Accept all form of occupation.
These young minds need to know; the opportunities, Mentorship, how to get in, even at their present level.
Ino Moses Jonah, well known as Ino, is a highly acclaimed Nollywood filmmaker with an impressive track record in the industry with reserved mentorship and commendable working relationship with veterans like Amb. Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, DGN, Chiemela Nwabueze, Ernest Obi DGN, Mary Remmy Njoku, Okey Oku (the Oracle), the list is endless. Ino Moses has also worked with other cast and crew to industry A-List and top rising actors.

As a multiple award winner, he has consistently demonstrated his talent and creativity, leaving an indelible mark on the Nigerian film landscape as Awarded by Benin Film Academy and Igbinedion University Okada.
In his present career journey, Ino Moses Jonah has achieved remarkable success at the box office, as his first ever feature film “ALMOST” distributed by Kada Cinema made it to cinema round the country and with numerous of his works becoming commercial hits. His ability to captivate audiences, deliver compelling stories and engaging talents has solidified his position as one of the most sought-after filmmakers in Nollywood. He was appointed by the Edo state Governor, His Excellency Godwin Obaseki as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Film Projects.
In addition to his achievements in the commercial realm, Ino is an esteemed executive member of the Association of Movie Producers (a.m.p) Nigeria, a prestigious guild that encompasses the finest talents in the industry. His involvement in this organization has allowed him to contribute to the growth and development of the Nigerian film community.
Ino’s works have garnered international recognition, having been showcased at renowned film festivals across the globe. His films have been celebrated for their artistic merit and have received accolades such as the Best Feature Film and Governor Obaseki’s Overall Best Film awards at the Edo State International Film Festival maiden edition.
Furthermore, Ino’s directorial prowess was acknowledged by the New Arts International Film Festival, where he won the coveted Best Director title.
Finalist at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival 2020, Abuja International Film Festival, A-TIPSOM Film Exhibition, Africa Smartphone International Film Festival, Zuma Film Festival and Semifinalist at major film festivals around the world like; Africa Film for Impact Festival, Realtime International Film Festival.
