HON. FANWO SALUTES WORKERS ON THE OCCASION OF WORKERS’ DAY
The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo has saluted the workers across the state and Nigeria on the occasion of Workers’ Day.
Hon. Fanwo gave this salutation while addressing pressmen in Lokoja.
Speaking further,The Hon. Commissioner commended the workers in both Public and Private Sectors for their commitment, dedication, perseverance, resilience and selflessness in service as they contribute meaningfully to the development and growth of their dear state and the nation at large.

Hon. Fanwo charged workers to further remain committed, dedicated and selfless in their discharge of official duties as expected, for the betterment of the state’s and nation’s economy.
In his words, “In the years past, you have committed and dedicated yourselves to active services that have brought development and growth to the state’s and nation’s economy. Your tireless efforts did not go unnoticed. They are really highly commendable. As Oliver Twist, we are demanding for more. I therefore urge you all to remain committed, dedicated, hardworking, innovative and selfless in discharging your duties and responsibilities; by so doing, our economy shall remain bouyant and robust .”
The Hon. Commissioner commended His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment and unwavering support practically demonstrated through prompt payment of workers’ remuneration and other benefits and entitlements, describing Governor Ododo as a caring friend of workers who knows where the shoe pinches and is ready to meet the needs of workers in the state.
He prayed for a peaceful, fruitful and favourable celebration adding that Almighty God would continue to strengthen them and bestow upon them divine wisdom, knowledge, understanding and good health required to discharge their duties effectively and efficiently.
