Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael 100 Days: So Far, So Good?

Since taking over the reins of power on 8th January, 2024 the Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area Caretaker Chairman, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael has made it a priority to reel out the achievements of his administration as he marks 100 days in office.

His resolve to periodically render an account of his stewardship was hinged on the fact that the people demand and deserve accountability.

Upon his assumption in office, the administration took some decisions which, to it, will go a long way in ameliorating the plight of Kabba-Bunu LGA residents.

The immediate step he has taken to reinforce the security architecture of the local government area was one the best step taken and received commendation from all the nook and crannies of the local government area.

Also his resolved to recover all local government area vehicles and property is the right step taken for the overall interest of the local government area.

The reawakening of the workers passion to work is highly commendable. His logic and friendly spirit to local government staff has a resultant effects on their attitude and approach to work.

The ongoing site clearing and construction of local government Vigilante Security Base at the newly established Kogi State University, Kabba is a welcome development.

Reeling out his administration’s achievements, the chairman said his team was ready to implement a well planned to deliver on critical areas, if “we have the tools”, adding that, “the most useful tool, apart from peace and security, is finance.

According to him, the caretaker chairman urge the people of the state particularly, in Kabba-Bunu LGA to continue to support the new administration in its efforts to bring development to the state because “Kogi is in a safe hands”.

Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael added that the governor has so far taken major steps that would reposition the state and place it on the path of sustainable development.

Zacchaeus said Ododo’s decision to prioritize Kogi State workers welfare was a bold step that would bring succour to workers and ensure development for people at the grassroots.
