Ijumu LGA Caretaker Chairman commiserates with Ijumu House of Assembly member over husband’s death
The Caretaker Chairman Ijumu LGA, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna (DSTV) was on Friday,15th, March, 2024, Condoled with Hon. Ishaya Adeleye Omotayo, House of Assembly member representing Ijumu Constituency at the state house of assembly, over husband’s death, Engr. Moses Ishaya.
In a condolence message he personally signed and made available to the public through his Special Assistant on New Media, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna described the incident as shocking and sad and urged the the honourable member and her family to take solace in the finality of God’s decision over the affairs of man
The caretaker Chairman further described the late Engr. Moses as a man of strong and impeccable character, who stood firmly with her wife as the first female democratically elected house of assembly member Ijumu Constituency since the creation of the state.
“Our heartfelt condolences go to Hon. Ishaya Adeleye Omotayo and her family on this sad development. I urge them to take it with equanimity as people of faith should always do.
“On behalf of myself, Kogi State Government, and the good people of Ijumu LGA, I wish to render our condolences to Hon Ishaya Adeleye Omotayo, and the immediate family over the death.
We pray God to repose the soul of the departed and comfort the family he left behind,” the Chairman said.
