Kogi SLG Forum: Oyenibi Omojola Sunday Emerges Chairman Kogi West SLG Forum
The Kogi State Forum of Local Government Secretaries has received commendations on its election that produced Hon Oyenibi Omojola Sunday (Ajon) as the Kogi West SLG Forum Chairman.
The election which was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere had been described as free, fair, credible and acceptable to all.
The Secretary of Idah LGA Transition Committee, Hon Alhaji Alhaji, emerged as the newly elected forum Chairman, while Hon Mathew James Omeiza popularly known as “Spreading”, appointed as the forum Secretary from Okehi Local Government Area.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the declaration, the Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area Secretary, now Kogi West SLG Forum Chairman, Hon Oyenibi Omojola Sunday (Ajon), thanked his colleagues on their peaceful dispositions during the just concluded elections.
“Let us see ourselves as one and work collectively in the interest of Kogi State and that of forum at large,” he said.
Also, Hon. Emmanuel Egamana, SLG Lokoja appointed as the forum treasurer, while Hon Abdulmalik Muktar SLG Ajaokuta emerges as Chairman Kogi Central, and Comr, Adojah Ademu Yahaya Olamaboro SLG as Kogi East Chairman SLG forum.
In addition, the chairman Kogi West SLG Forum reiterated its vote of confidence in the leadership of the Kogi State forum of Local Government Secretaries Chairman, Hon Alhaji Alhaji describing him as a true democrat.
