All Progressives Congress in Otu Ward Gets New Leadership, Congratulates Governor Yahaya Bello for ending his tenure on good note, prayers fo Incoming Governor Ododo Usman

The ruling All Progressives Congress in Otu political ward, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State has gotten new leadership.

This was disclosed in a letter signed by the ward party chairman and Secretary, Mr Saiye Sunday, Olori Funke Folorunsho respectively on behalf of the ward and addressed to the Party chairman in the local government, Comrade Solomon Jemibawondo and copied to all the relevant stakeholders concern and cited by our reporter.

According to the letter, the Party held its monthly ward meeting on 23rd January, 2024 where it was unanimously resolved to appoint Pastor Samuel Ajinuhi, the immediate past Chairman, Kogi State Christian Pilgrim Board as it’s leader to replace Chief Julius Arokoyo who have voluntarily resigned his position as the party leader of the Ward due to personal reasons to pursue other endeavors, while Chief Olugbemi Femi will serve as the Deputy leader of the ward.

The letter further read that, the party will not, going forward sent any other person aside the party ward leader or his deputy to represent them in any fora relating to the progress and developments of the party, stressing that both the party executives and stakeholders are more determined to continue to work hard to maintain its dominance in the area.

They urged the leadership of the party at various levels to take cognizance of its giant efforts at winning all elections since 2015 that the party came on board hence they are expected to be rewarded commiserate with their inputs being the second on the performance list in Kabba district of Kabba-Bunu local government in the recent elections conducted in February, March and November 11 Governorship elections.

They also used the opportunity to congratulate the outgoing administration led by Governor Yahaya Bello for his laudable achievements in all sectors of the state economy, pointed out that they believe in the ability and capacity of the incoming administration of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman to consolidate on the fantastic performances of his predecessor, promised to give him maximum support and cooperation to carry out his duties as the Executive Governor of Kogi State

Dear Sir, 
Letter of Information on the leadership structure of APC Otu Ward 

This is to officially communicate to your office that our immediate past leader, Chief (Hon.) Julius Arokoyo has stepped aside from active politics to pursue 
other endeavors and since there is no room for vacuum, his Deputy Leader, Pastor Samuel Ajinuhi will step in as Acting Leader of the Ward while he will be supported by Chief Olugbemi Femi to manage the affairs of the party in the Ward for now.

This was the resolution reached in the Ward meeting held yesterday, 23rd January, 2024 and well attended by the majority of the Ward Executives and stakeholders of the party in the Ward.

Also to note that at no time the party in the ward will not delegate or sent any other person to represent the Ward at any level, hence any meeting correspondence should be directed to the ward leader or chairman of the party in the ward.

That going forward, the leadership of the party in the local, state and national levels should take note as any meeting of such should be communicated to the Ward Party Chairman, Mr Saiye Sunday or the Ward leader, Pastor Samuel Ajinuhi.

That APC Otu Ward will continue to work hard for the overall success of the party in the future elections but want to draw the attention of the leadership of the party not to relegate the ward  to the background in the scheme of things, as the successes recorded in the past are the joint efforts of the Ward Executives and stakeholders who no longer find their voices because some few individuals in the Ward want to hijack the glory which will be met with stiff resistance.

The Ward also used the opportunity to congratulate Governor Yahaya Bello for ending his 8yrs tenure on a good, prayed that God shall continue to bless his future endeavors for the opportunities given to some of its leaders to served the administration at different times while its last.

Also to use this medium to congratulate the Incoming Administration of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, prayed that God will grant him the needed wisdom, knowledge, understanding and good health to pilot the affairs of his new office. That the ward resolved to give him maximum support and cooperation to while discharging his duties as the executive Governor of the state.
