The Transition Caretaker Chairman Ijumu LGA and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to Ekinrin Ade, As part of the ongoing familiarization visit.
The Transition Caretaker Chairman was welcomed with a loud ovation by party supporters, critical stakeholders and well-wishers as he emerged from his vehicle.
The caretaker Chairman immediately proceeded into the palace for a closed door meeting with the Kabiyesi and the high chief and other dignitaries.
Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna thanked The Royal Father and the high chief for the honour and warmth reception given to him.
The caretaker Chairman on behalf of the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and the Governor elect Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, thanked and appreciated their support during the last gubernatorial election that saw the victory of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his deputy., while assuring them that the governor and The caretaker Chairman are also eager to reciprocate the support given to him by the people of Ekinrin Ade and the traditional ruler’s during the last election.
The caretaker Chairman promised he would always be willing to be associated with the Kabiyesi for his remarkable support for him.
“The Kabiyesi is someone I will always honour and I’m very grateful for his support to me and this government.”
The Kabiyesi, in his remarks, thanked the Chairman for with the visit, pledging his total support for the success of the administration.
“You coming here is not as a visitor but as the home owner. I thank you for making yourself available as promised to the service of all Ijumu,” he said.
“We want to assure you that we are with you in your fight to liberate Ijumu.
