The Transition Caretaker Chairman was welcome by party supporters, critical stakeholders, youths, artisan and well-wishers in the community
The caretaker Chairman was led by APC Chairman in Ife/Ikoyi ward, pastor Ojumoro Samuel to the palace of the Olukoyi of Ikoyi, HRH Oba Japhet Ohunenise.
The caretaker Chairman, who conveyed the message of the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and the Governor elect Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, appreciated the support of the Kabiyesi during the last gubernatorial election that saw the victory of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy.
He assured that the incoming administration as well as his Leadership will reciprocate the support to the Oba and his subjects.
The Kabiyesi in his response appreciated the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and the Governor elect Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for heeding the call of the community in upgrading the stool of Olukoyi of Ikoyi, saying it is a dream of the community for a very long time.
The Kabiyesi further advised the caretaker Chairman to partners with relevant agency in empowering Ijumu teaming youths in agricultural programs.
He also solicited for the support of the caretaker Chairman in having additional pipe born water in the community.
The caretaker Chairman, While reacting, appreciated the Kabiyesi for the warm reception and promised to look into his request and revert back to him within next two weeks.
