Braimoh also drew attention to the root causes of such heinous acts, pointing out the link between the arming of thugs during elections and subsequent abandonment. He remarked, “This unfortunate situation is a direct consequence of desperate politicians who recklessly arm thugs with ammunition during elections only to abandon them afterward. Urgent action must be taken by the security apparatus in the state to apprehend the arsonists and kidnappers responsible for these atrocities. The people of Kogi State deserve a secure and peaceful coexistence, and we must safeguard it diligently.”

Braimoh offered his prayers, saying, “May the souls of the departed find eternal peace.” His message stands as a call to action for enhanced security measures and a stern reminder of the importance of responsible political conduct to prevent further tragedies in the region.
