The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the registration procedure and process flow for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates. 1. E-PIN Sales Period:
   – E-PINs for UTME registration will be available for purchase from January 8th, 2024, to February 24th, 2024.
   – Direct Entry e-PIN vending starts on February 28th, 2024, and concludes on March 28th, 2024.

2. Registration Period:
   – UTME registration commences on January 15th, 2024, and closes on February 26th, 2024.
   – Applicants are urged to adhere to the specified timelines to avoid any complications.

3. Official Reading Material For 2024 UTME :
   – The designated book for UTME candidates in 2024 is “The Life Changer” by Khadija Abubakar Jalli.
   – Aspirants are strongly advised to initiate preparations for the examination well in advance.

4. 2024 UTME E-PIN Categories and Costs:
   – There will be three types of E-PINs:
     – N7,700 – UTME with Mock UTME.
     – N6200 for each of UTME without mock and Direct Entry (DE).
   – Applicants must specify the type of E-PIN required during purchase, as no refunds will be provided.

5. Breakdown of Fees for 2024 UTME :
   – UTME/DE JAMB application fee – N 3,500.
   – Reading Text (Free for Only 2024) – FREE (QR CODE).
   – CBT Centre Registration Charge – N 700.
   – CBT Centre Examination Service Charge – N 1,500.
   – Bank Charges – N 500.
   – CBT Mock-UTME Centre Charge – N 1,500.

6. Cashless Registration:
   – Emphasis is placed on the cashless nature of the registration process to eradicate extortion practices.
   – Applicants are encouraged to utilize approved payment channels for a seamless experience.

7. Special Note:
   – Candidates must take note that the reading text for the year 2024 is free, provided as a QR code.
   – It is essential to be aware of the specific charges associated with each stage of the registration process.
