In a resounding New Year message, the Provost of Kogi State College of Education Technical (KSCOETK), Dr. Mrs. Olushola Victoria Jagboro, has urged the institution’s management, staff, and students to redouble their dedication to duty in 2024. The Provost commended the collective efforts that propelled the college to new heights of academic excellence in the face of challenges throughout 2023.

Dr. Mrs. Jagboro expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support of Governor Yahaya Bello, whom she hailed as the “Pillar of Modern Education.” She acknowledged the governor’s pivotal role in the infrastructural development and welfare of the college, contributing significantly to its achievements and earning commendations from various quarters.

Despite the accomplishments of the outgoing year, the Provost called for sustained efforts and a renewed commitment to duty, emphasizing the importance of Governor Bello’s support in the institution’s success. She extended her best wishes to the departing administration, hoping for greater political opportunities for Governor Bello in serving the nation.

Looking ahead to the incoming administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, set to take office on the 27th of January, Dr. Mrs. Jagboro urged continuity and building on the legacies already established, especially within the College. She highlighted the need for the release of resources essential for relocating the institution to its permanent site, a crucial step following the establishment of kogi state University Kabba (KSUK)

In conclusion, the Provost extended her wishes for a fruitful and blessed year in 2024 to the entire college community, including the management, staff, students, and key stakeholders. Special recognition was given to the Commissioner for Education Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones, for his indefatigable efforts in advancing education within the state.

As the KSCOETK moves forward into the new year, the Provost’s message serves as a rallying call for continued dedication, collaboration, and progress, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the institution’s standing in the realm of education.
