In a triumphant moment for Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo and Mr. Joel Salifu emerged victorious in the recent gubernatorial election, securing the helm of the state’s affairs. The joyous occasion has garnered widespread applause, including heartfelt congratulations from Mrs. ABE OMOTUNDE OLUFUNKE, the present Director-Audit of Kogi State College of Education (Technical) Mopa and a distinguished member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).

Mrs. OLUFUNKE, expressing her elation, emphasized that success is the fruit of hard work. She joined millions of Kogites and Nigerians in celebrating the well-deserved victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The air is filled with victory songs, echoing the triumph of Alhaji Usman Ododo and Mr. Joel Salifu, the Governor-Elect and Deputy respectively.

Commending the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for a job well done, Mrs. OLUFUNKE praised the electoral umpire’s efforts in ensuring a successful and peaceful election. The notably low levels of violence and disturbances underscored the positive strides made in the electoral process, though acknowledging that improvements can still be made in future elections.

In her congratulatory message, Mrs. OLUFUNKE extended prayers for divine guidance and wisdom for the Governor-Elect and his Deputy. As they prepare to take the reins of Kogi State in the coming months, she hopes for their skillful navigation in steering the ship of the state towards brighter times.

Acknowledging the pivotal role played by the security agencies in maintaining peace during the election, Mrs. OLUFUNKE highlighted the significance of their efforts in ensuring a conducive environment for the democratic process.
