With the Kogi state governorship election just around the corner, the people of Kogi State must reflect on the consequences of their past decisions in electing leaders. The distribution of a mere cup of rice, two cubes of Maggi, a piece of soap, or a meager amount of money during election campaigns by politicians has proven to be detrimental to our future, and that of our children generations. It is high time we rejected these callous politicians, broke free from this cycle of short-sightedness, and instead opt for a fresh, blameless, and visionary candidate of the Action Alliance, Olayinka Braimoh, who possesses the vision and integrity necessary to uplift Kogi State from poverty and other challenges that cause retardation of our development as a State. By making the right decision, we can bring about the change and progress that Kogi State desperately needs.
Kogi State’s current state of poverty is a direct result of the poor decisions we have made in choosing our leaders. The token offerings during election campaigns have only served to perpetuate a cycle of dependency and stagnation. These trivial handouts may temporarily appease our immediate needs but do nothing to address the root cause of poverty and underdevelopment, as a result, we suffer from a lack of basic amenities, a struggling economy, and general poor governance. We need a shift in leadership if we are to overcome these challenges and secure a brighter future for ourselves and generations of our children.
To bring about real change, we need leaders who possess the foresight and vision to address the pressing issues facing Kogi State. Olayinka Braimoh, the candidate for Action Alliance (AA), embodies these qualities. His fresh, visionary perspective and innovative ideas can pave the way for a transformed Kogi State. By electing a visionary leader like Braimoh, we can establish a government that prioritizes wealth creation and distribution under which education, healthcare, infrastructure, empowerment, job opportunities, and economic development are all taken care of.
Kogi State’s current state of poverty can be directly attributed to the poor choices made in selecting leaders without visionary leadership. The distribution of meager resources during election campaigns is a ploy by unscrupulous politicians to deceive and manipulate the electorate. It is important to recognize the adverse effects of these decisions and take responsibility for the consequences they have brought upon our State.
Opposition parties may try to entice is (voters) with various tricks and promises. However, it is crucial to see through these tactics and remain focused on choosing a candidate who aligns with our vision for Kogi State. Olayinka Braimoh, with his blameless track record, offers a genuine alternative to the failed leadership of the past. By rejecting the opposition parties and their empty promises, we can ensure that our votes are cast wisely in favor of a candidate who will genuinely work towards the betterment of our state.
The November 11th governorship election in Kogi State presents an opportunity for change and progress. By voting for Olayinka Braimoh, a fresh, blameless, and visionary candidate of the Action Alliance, we can steer Kogi State towards a brighter future.
