In less than a month before the Kogi state governorship election, the entertainment committee campaign council holds their inaugural party at the Glass House Government House in Lokoja the state capital, Artists from the three Senatorial Districts of the State set the Stage on fire through their charmatic performances at the Inaugural Party of the APC Entertainment Committee Campaign Council for Ododo/Joel 2023.
The Party flag up of activities of the Entertainment Committee of the All Progressives Congress APC Campaign Council as they solicited support for the success of Usman Ododo and Comr. Joel Salifu Oyibo is to emerge as the next Governor and Deputy Governor in the November 11th Governorship Election in Kogi State.
Music Artists including Don Flash (Akatapa 1 of Africa), Yunique Ozi Ori, Hi Speed, Mr. Large, and among other Artists, entertained the audience with their various Campaign Songs for Ododo.

In his welcome address, the Director of the Entertainment Committee of the APC, Hon. Juwon Demas Olorunnipa (JUMABEE), assured that the Committee will work day and night to ensure that Kogi Agenda is fulfilled through Ododo as the next Governor of the State.
He noted that the Entertainment Committee plays a vital role in the Campaign Council, promising that they will live up to expectations in the discharge of their duties through collaboration and collective efforts of Members of the Committee.
According to him, we come together to embrace diversity, celebrate unity, and create lasting memories together
“As we prepare for November 11th, 2023, our objectives as a Committee are to project, rebrand, model, and package our Party’s Candidate and the people’s choice, Ahmed Usman Ododo through tireless campaigns, rallies, Advocacy programs, musical festivals, and sensitization activities on why it should be him and no one else for a more unified and better Kogi State
“For continuity and consolidation, we stand strongly with the decision of governor Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, its Governing body, and the good people of Kogi on the choice of Ododo/Joel come November 11th, 2023,” he noted
In his remarks, the Director General of APC Campaign Council in Kogi State, Prince Shuaibu Audu, said the Party is keen to ensure peaceful conduct throughout the Campaign Season.
Prince Shuaibu, who was represented by the director of media and publicity of the Kogi APC governorship campaign council and who is also, the Commissioner for Information and Communications Hon Kingsley Fanwo, said APC remains the leading Party that will win come November 11 governorship election in the State.
He stressed that Ododo/Joel would emerge overwhelmingly in the coming election, calling on Kogi citizens to join the winning Team.
According to Fanwo, the Campaign will be peaceful. We are campaigning to deepen the dignity of our dear State, to take our state to greater heights and we promise that we will not be involved in any violence. Winners don’t fight, we urge you all to be peaceful in our Campaigns”
He advised Entertainers in the State to spread the gospel of Ododo/Oyibo, using arts to project what the administration of Governor Bello has done and tell the story using Music.
Speaking on the “Gains of the Current Administration”, the Secretary to Kogi State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade (Ph.D.), applauded the Entertainment Committee of the APC for the manner they kick-started their activities.
Dr. Folashade said that Governor Yahaya Bello has brought Unity to the State, describing the Governor as the first in Nigeria to establish two functional Universities within a short period.
“His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello CON has also involved women and youth in his administration, so we need the Ododo/Oyibo Team to take over the Leadership of the State”.
While the Rector, of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Dr. Usman Ogbo, said the APC Governorship Candidate will consolidate on the good works of the present administration, whom he said improved all sectors in the State.
