…Canvasses support for ODODO 2023
Team Erudite, a group dedicated to ensuring the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the upcoming 2023 Kogi State Governorship election, has made a donation of campaign materials. These materials include face caps, T-Shirts, Notebooks, and handbills, all of which will be used to promote the candidacy of Alhaji Usman Ododo.
The leader of Team Erudite, Princess Omowumi Grace Olowohunwa, the immediate past Kogi State NALDA coordinator, was warmly received by the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB. During their meeting, Princess Omowumi expressed her confidence in Alhaji Ododo’s ability to deliver excellent governance if given the mandate. She assured the Commissioner that her team is fully committed to campaigning for and ensuring the success of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo at the polls.
In her speech, Princess Omowumi expressed her gratitude to the Commissioner for his prompt response and hospitality. She explained that the decision to produce notebooks as part of their campaign materials was influenced by the Commissioner’s statement about Alhaji Ododo’s passion for education and his commitment to improving the educational sector in Kogi State.
The Honourable Commissioner, in his response, commended Princess Omowumi and Team Erudite for their efforts. He highlighted Alhaji Ododo’s track record of supporting education, such as his involvement in the school adoption program and his provision of science textbooks to all secondary schools in Kogi State.
The Commissioner urged Team Erudite to go back to their communities and campaign vigorously for Alhaji Ododo, emphasizing that there are ample reasons to support his candidacy. One such reason is the growth and development witnessed at Kogi west with the established Kogi State University in Kabba, which serves as evidence of the APC’s commitment to progress in the constituency.
