A prominent politician and chieftain of ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Koton-karfe Kogi local government area, Hajiya Maimunat Iyami led over 200 women to a meeting with the Executive Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barr Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku.

The meeting held at her residence Koton-karfe, the administrative headquarters of Kogi LG on Sunday.

Hajiya Iyami, a former women leader in the area said the meeting with Barr Tanko purely centered on APC’s victory in the upcoming election slated for November 11, 2023.

She appreciated Barr Tanko for his inclusive leadership and sincere love for Kogi LG women.

The woman politician said the time has come again for them to move in uniform, adding that Barr Tanko has done it in past and believed he will surely do it again.

Iyami said the women of Koton-karfe are eagerly waiting for election to exercise their civil rights, with a particular reference to voting APC candidate, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.

Responding Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Tanko thanked Mama Iyami for having faith in APC, the political leader of Kogi State and Governor Yahaya Idris whom he described architecture of new Kogi State.

Barr Tanko who extended appreciation to her followers for their patience and sacrifice, assured them of continued patronage.

The civil service boss was accompanied by Kogi LG APC women, former assembly aspirant, Hon crammer and some stalwarts in the area.

He said Ododo will win the November 11 election and he will consolidate on Governor Yahaya Bello’s gains.
