To caution the effects of fuel subsidy removal, the Executive Chairman of Adavi Local Government, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami flag off the distribution of palliatives to the people of Adavi Local Government.
The Council Boss in his address appreciates the Kogi State Governor, H.E, Gov. Yahaya Bello for always displaying passionate concern for his people in periods of grieve, even though much is been done by the government that has so far earned Kogi State an enviable height amongst it’s contemporaries.
He prayed that Allah continue to fortify him in all his ways of endeavour, ameen.
After which he emphasized on modality of sharing in the stakeholder meeting that it should be through poling units as a measure of attending to the downtrodden without any form of party discrimination, religious or other forms of differences. “It must be shared indiscriminately and transparently”, he said
He went further to say that with the palliative provisions of the State government through the local government councils, it is a tenable fact that it will go a long way in ameliorating the sufferings that fuel subsidy removal has meted on people.
