HON. OMOTAYO ADELEYE ISHAYA ATTENDS THE INDUCTION AND TRAINING PROGRAMMES FOR HONOURABLE MEMBERS AND LEGISLATIVE STAFF OF THE KOGI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY.
The Member representing the Ijumu constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya is currently attending the induction and training program for the honorable members and legislative staff of Kogi State House of Assembly organized by Abba Adaudu & Co. at the pear jabi lake, Abuja.
The induction and training program which comes up between 29th August to 2nd September would help the House of Assembly members and the legislative staff to familiarize them with the system and also help them to know more about legislative business which would later help them to carry out their duties effectively. The program comes at a time when the state House of Assembly is getting ready to resume fully for their legislative business, next week.
Hon. Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya described the program as an educating, scintillating, and wake-up call for the members and legislative staff, which would help in carrying out their daily activities as the house is set to resume next week on Tuesday. She believes that the knowledge gained from the training, and the experience shared by the participants would go a long way to make things easier for them when they resume legislative business.
She commended the organizers of the program, stressing that the organizers have done well by coming up with a program that would help to promote, sustain, and help the state house of assembly and legislative staff to work in accordant with the rules of the house, and also help to pursue a good policies formulations for the house, brings in ideas for development projects, and help to make a law that would make the state to progress and develop in all sectors.
Highlights from the program include positioning all the members of the Kogi State House of Assembly for the task ahead, familiarization between the members of the Kogi State House of Assembly and legislative staff, promoting unity and cooperation among members and legislative staff, and the rules guiding the conducts of members of Kogi state house of assembly and legislative staff. The program is slated for 29th August and September 2nd, 2023.
Lastly, Hon. Omotayo expresses her readiness to deliver dividends of democracy to the good people of the Ijumu constituency, describing the people of the Ijumu constituency as the best set of people you can trust, and put your hope in. She further talked about commitment to providing sustainable Development to the people of the Ijumu constituency, stressing that no time from now, the good people of the Ijumu constituency would start enjoying the rewards of their labor.
