Provost Kogi State College of Education Technical, Kabba, Mrs Victoria Jagboro Congratulates the newly installed Alayere of Ayere land, Oba Olumodeji

The Provost of the Kogi State College of Education Technical, Kabba, Mrs Victoria Jagboro has congratulated the newly installed Alayere of Ayere, Oba (Engr.) Elijah Olumodeji on the successful hosting of the coronation program.

She disclosed this while chatting with journalists on the sideline of the event that was held at the Ayere Primary School field in Ijumu local government area of Kogi State over the weekend.

She was happy to witness the coronation of her brother of same mother to be coronated as the Alayere of Ayere land, stressing that she never believed she will step her feet on the soil of Ayere land after the burial ceremony of her mother last year, not knowing something great like the headship of the community will be bestowed on her maternal sibling.

She said her mother first gave birth to the three of them in Ayere before moving to Kabba to marry her father where she is the first child of the union. She prayed that his reign will bring ppsotive transformation to the community.

She pointed out that recent events in the community has shown that his reign will bring development to the community, as 4almost immediately he was announced as the Alayere elect, the community witnessed the ground breaking of Vine University project, a privately owned university sited within the community and the installation of the solar powered street lights in the Ayere town.

She called on the people of Ayere land to give him maximum support and cooperation for the lost glory of Ayere to be restored, pointing out that this was not the Ayere community she grew up to know, and prayed that God will turn around the situation of the community for good under his leadership.

He appealed to the monarch to rule his people with the fear of God and committed all his activities unto the Hands of God.
