DG Okun United For Ododo Applauds Cmdr. Jerry Omodara For His Self Help Services To His Community

The Director General of Okun United For Ododo/Joel Project, Hon. Alfred Bello has applauded the General Cordinator of Okun United For Ododo/Joel Project who also double as the State Security Adviser to Kogi state Government, Cmdr. Jerry Omodara for distributing farm implements, food stuffs and scholarship to Indigene students of Bunuland.

The Director General in a statement signed and made available to newsmen said to whom much is given, much is expected, calling on all the political office holders, both elected and appointees to emulate the giants efforts of the General Cordinator as Government he noted, cannot do all for the people.

"As the representatives of the people in different political offices, we must make it a point of duty to bring back to the people so that they can experience the full dividends of democracy.

"Those who have benefited from the governor's gesture should be ready to compliment the government efforts at putting smile on the faces of the people in ensuring that the gains of democracy get down to the grassroots.

"You are to be accountable to the people irrespective of political office you find yourself as such would help the government to fast track development in all part of the state.

"Let me also use this medium to appeal to kogites to continue to have faith in the ruling APC and come out en-mass in the forthcoming Kogi state Governorship election to vote overwhelmingly for the APC Governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as he Ododo would sustain the legacy of Governor Yahaha Bello when elected Governor of Kogi state for more prosperous Kogi state worthy of our dream.
