The quest for the realization of the cultural objective action plan of OKUNLAND, had a long time been the sole purpose of YEYE OGE TÍ ILÉ OKUN, AARE YEYE OMOLEYE TOLUFASE AIYELABOWO, through the renowned annual program ILE’YA OMO OKUN (HOME COMING FESTIVAL FOR ALL INDIGENOUS SON AND DAUGHTER OF OKUNLAND),

ILE’YA OMO OKUN, serve as a bridge to reconnect the people of OKUN back to their origin, through giving sense of belonging to Okun young maidens most importantly those falling of tracks, celebrating the ancestral cultural practices of OKUNLAND, rewarding and celebrating those who have been constantly giving back to the society in all spheres and empowerment platforms to motivate and appreciate our striving mothers whose tireless efforts has kept OKUN’s son and daughter thriving and doing exploit in their various endeavors of life.
This laudable project commenced in 2019 as the 1st edition and 2023, is another year’s edition to rekindle our commitment and dedication toward this course. Regardless of the tough, rough pathways and what life might have had threw on us, the Organizer of ILE’YA OMO OKUN and the CREW, remain steadfast, determine and believe more in God’s strength to keep contributing immensely to the growth and development of OKUNLAND, through the life adding value project.
