NPWYDI Confers IHCD On Balogun Of Yoruba Kingdom
Balogun of Yoruba Kingdom, Hon. (Chief) John D. Anjorin JP. has added another feather as he was conferred Icon of Human Capital Development (IHCD) by the Nigeria Progressive Women and Youth Development Initiative (NPWYDI).
The Balogun who is also the Vice Chairman (Kogi West) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kogi State chapter received the award in Lokoja on Thursday.
The leader of the NPWYDI delegation, Comrade Femi Promise in his presentation said Balogun has earned the award, that his effort in human capital development in Kogi State and Kogi West in particular is evident and enormous.
Barr. Tanko, Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission appreciated the NPWYDI for recognizing the APC VC (Kogi West) for the befitting award, he added that such awards is important in order to encourage people like Balogun to continually give back to the society.
Balogun Anjorin expresses gratitude to NPWYDI, he noted that everyone came to the world empty and will go back empty.
“More so, God has provided for us, so it is important that we stand in the gap for others”, he added.
He appreciated the entourage of the NPWYDI, Chief of Staff to Kogi APC Chairman and other dignitaries for coming.
Inscribed on the award certificate is, “For His Leadership And Philanthropic Gesture To The Good People Of Kogi West”.
The award was conferred by NPWYDI in collaboration with Coalition of Civil Society Groups in Nigeria.
