As the November 11 gubernatorial election in Kogi State draws nearer, the leadership of ODODO-SALIFU KOGI WEST YOUTH MOVEMENTS (OSKWYM), has officially announced the appointments of the State Commissioner of Information and Communication, Hon Kingsley Femi Fanwo as Patron; the Managing Director and Chief Executive, Kogi State Enterprises Development Agency (KEDA), Hajiya Rekiya Onaivo Sanni, as Matron I; the Director General, Kogi Pension Reforms Commission (KPRC), Hajiya Mariam Ozioma Abedo, as Matron II.

A statement signed by the Chairman of the Movement, Prince Hamza Bola Sanusi, said the choice of Hon Fanwo was made after a clinical appraisal and general assessment of political gladiators from Kogi West Senatorial District.
“We were inspired by Fanwo’s loyalty to the cause of the party in the state, and his demonstrated love for the party and believe in the spirit of a United APC Family. His political and developmental tragectory in the state and beyond cannot be forgotten, he said”

The Chairman and the Convener of the Movement averred that, OSKWYM, is a well-recognized, Active, Formidable and Strategic (Online and Offline) Mobilisation and Supporting Group which is committed to galvanizing supports for the emergence of the Candidacy of the All Progressive Congress (APC) ALH ODODO AHMED USMAN and his running mate COMRADE SALIFU JOEL OYIBO as Governor of Kogi State come November 11 Poll.

The Movement which comprises of both men and women with wealth of political experience in Grassroots Mobilisation and Campaign across the Seven (7) Local Governments Areas of Kogi West Senatorial District, has been working round the clock, making waves and creating awareness of the APC Candidate.
The Chairman of the Group, Prince Sanusi, specially and profoundly eulogised the Super-dynamic Governor, ALH YAHAYA ADOZA BELLO, for fulfilling the yearning and aspirations of the Okun People to have a University in Okun extraction of the Kogi West. He, however said, the large army of Kogi Youths are tired of the rhetoric of tribal and religious bigotry and would want to see their lives continually transformed as they have witnessed in the past Seven (7) years in the state, describing the ethnic divisiveness or agenda as narrow-minded and detrimental to the advancement of the state and therefore, dead on arrival.
He described Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman as eminently stabbed as the right Candidate to sustain and build on the current legacy of the present Administration in the state.
It is on this premise that, he pledged the Movement’s unflinching loyalty and commitment to the cause of the party and all it represents.
