HON. OMOTAYO ADELEYE ISHAYA, MEMBER REPRESENTING IJUMU CONSTITUENCY, KOGI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ATTENDS FIRST PLENARY SESSION OF THE 8TH ASSEMBLY.
Kogi state house of assembly resumes sitting today, this is the first plenary session since the beginning of the 8th assembly.
Hon. Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya joins other members to deliberate on the proposed Kogi state University, Kabba. The establishment of the university enters second reading today, the establishment of Kogi state University Kabba, would contribute to the economic growth of the host community, also it would help to increase and aids admission process for the youths of Okun land and other people from other parts of the state that are willing to attend the school.
Hon. Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya in her words: Described the the establishment of Kogi state University, Kabba as welcome Development and also timing considering the agitation from the people of Okun land, who belived they deserved a university of their own. Hon. Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya commended the governor of kogi State, HE. Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his giant strides in Education, stressing that, since the inception of Kogi state, no governor and administration can stand the present administration in the areas of education.
Lastly, the member representing Ijumu constituency, urges the good people of ijumu constituency to continue to pray, support, and join hands with the present government to move kogi State to the permanent site. She also described the governor as serious minded leader who sees the welfare and security of the people of Kogi as a priority and people of good faiths.
